If you're in the market to buy floor heating systems, it is imperative that you protect the health of your family by insisting that any radiant floor heat product you buy has been tested by ETL Semko. You'll also want to ask what the actual EMF output, as described by the REET test, is of any floor heating product you decide to buy. This precaution will ensure that when you buy heating mats, you are purchasing radiant floor heat that is safe as well as comfortable for your whole family. Be wary of any electric floor heating systems not tested under REET. Many manufacturers of radiant floor heating systems make grandiose claims about the safety and effectiveness of their products, but only third-party independent testing will actually prove which radiant floor heat systems are safe enough to bring into your home.
